The epitome of effortless British design and synonymous with good taste and excellent style, OKA has furnished homes all over the world for over two decades. Today, OKA is a successful multi-channel retailer of beautiful and unique furniture and dcor for the home. In late 2019, OKA crossed the pond and launched online; and now celebrating its first-ever US store located Houston TX, a step that had long been a dream of our founders.

Role objective:

As we continue to grow, we're looking for a self-starting and versatile Marketing Manager to drive US omni-channels campaigns and provide cross-functional support for global partners and stakeholders to build and maintain our US presence through a wide range of online and offline marketing channels.

Reporting into the Director of Commercial Operations, responsibilities include executing marketing campaigns and media planning, managing the marketing budget, campaign analysis, and ensuring that all US marketing materials support our brand goals across strategic, creative, retail and media initiatives. To be successful in this role, you should have hands-on experience with campaign planning, strong communication, and proven ability to turn creative ideas into effective and impactful brand initiatives. Most importantly, the ideal candidate has a positive attitude, a tireless work ethic, equal appreciation for strategic and creative.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cross-functional support to develop and execute the US Integrated Marketing Calendar across multiple marketing online and offline channels including web, email, print and digital advertising, direct mail, PR & events, etc.
  • Lead project execution and manage varied marketing projects ensuring smooth execution - on brand, on time and within budget. Includes developing Briefs, proofreading, managing Monday.com, facilitate US Collateral production, invoice processing and budget management.
  • Support the Interior Design To-the-Trade channel to include some database, CRM, administrative duties as needed.
  • Execute and provide on-site support, as needed, for store and Interior Designer To-The-Trade and media events and activations
  • Assist in managing US media (print and partnerships) including facilitating partnerships, managing IOs and facilitating US PR execution in collaboration with PR Firm and UK PR team. Includes on editorial opportunities and media/influencer relationships (Media requests, Press gifting & loans, Research and Outreach)
  • Ideate, organize and implement marketing assets including for sponsorship programs, industry partnership activations, to-the-trade associations, and charitable-giving endeavors
  • Conduct analysis including customer survey research, marketing data analysis
  • Assist with the creation of brand assets and trade tools in collaboration with global stakeholders and partners across marketing, creative, merchandising, and operations, as necessary.
  • Liaise with Global team to provide social media / digital for US-specific initiatives including planning, execution, and campaign measurement (e.g. Brand Partnerships/ Influencer Campaigns)
  • Provide additional support to assist Trade, Retail and Visual Merchandising teams, as needed
  • Build trust, foster innovation, solve problems creatively, value others, collaborate and communicate effectively, deliver results, focus on the customer, and demonstrate high integrity

  • EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelors Degree required
  • 3+ years experience in Marketing, Media, PR or Social Channels
  • Excellent Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook skills. Adobe InDesign & Photoshop a plus
  • Salesforce or other CRM experience a plus
  • Sound understanding of marketing principles including 360 omnichannel retail marketing approach principles
  • Effective understanding of the latest marketing technologies and how to apply them
  • Interior Design, Home Furnishings and Dcor and/or luxury industry experience a plus
