Services provided at the hospital include emergency medical care, orthopedic surgeries, maternity, and behavioral health services.Multi-Modality Tech/Office AssistantAssist the staff therapists and assistants by relieving them of the responsibilities which can logically, legally, and safely be delegated to supportive personnel. Also assists with the overall operation of the department. This position is also responsible for greeting, collecting and processing all non-scheduled patients to gather the necessary demographic information required in accordance with all regulations and hospital policies to provide care for the patients, procure reimbursement verification from third parties and maintain records appropriately. Orders and logs all supplies as needed.Transports/escorts patients to and from treatment areas as appropriate.Prepares patients and/or treat areas for treatment.Demonstrates efficient and cost-effective approach to role and responsibilities through the appropriate use and care of equipment, resources and supplies.Timely, accurately and cost-effective delivery of services and other processes.Meets regularly scheduled and special project deadlines.Suggests, develops, improves and implements efficient systems to accomplish tasks.Prioritizes and clarifies roles and responsibilities appropriately.Strong organizational skills related to roles and responsibilities.Offers assistance to others when time is available.Successfully manages multiple tasks and functions related to this position.Cross-trains others on critical aspects of this position.Attends and actively participates in team meetings/patient staffing, as well as attends departmental and interdepartmental in-services as indicated.QualificationsEducation requirements: High School diploma or GED.
